the performance isnt bad but it isnt much better then onboard video
say DDR 3200 or DDR2 PC6400 computer
the problem with this card is that it generate too much heat and its half height so it will not fit in a desktop computer..
more heat mean that your computer may slow down a lot and cause lags and drag that can be annoying..why because cpu,heatsink and fan, harddrive, motherboard chipset cdrom,dvd,bluray are already generating quite a bit of heat. i dont want noisy computer so i cant add extra fan to pump more air into it.
so in truth you get a little more performance then onboard but its not necessary..
not needed..
onboard video on faster bus say DDR dual channel is all you need
I use to think that its much faster but it isn't... in most case the budget video card are slower then onboard by 50 percent or worse...
after buying some video card it seem i am just throwing money away.. disappointed.

Sent different video card than pictured and described.Was a low profile DVI instead VGA output.Made it work with an adapter for VGA.Dont always go by pictures....Zippy1148.
