This video card is real monster both for good and other reasons that need careful attention. this thing is very powerful it can run any game and has full direct x 11 support. everything about this card is awesome. you just need to be careful that you have a power supply with at least 600 watts or you wont be able to run this card. a monster this size needs monster energy right. and your power supply needs a 6 pin connection. oh and don't forget the size. i knew the card would be big, but it was bigger than i imagined and just barely fit in to my computer. but if you got everything you need. this card is worth it. oh and this is my first ever review. thanks.

I've had this graphics card now for awhile. I thought the 2 GB Memory package would improve performace. However, the memory is slow. Graphics is not what I was expecting at 1280 x 1024. It's just OK, but not great for the price. This item is now hard to find (wonder why?). Drivers for this item is limited, but can be found. Placed in a known good computer, it hangs up, requiring a hard boot. I cannot recommend this card, but ASUS does have some good graphic card out there, just not this one. I'll be using it in a standard computer from now on. Not for gaming.
Great hardware but bad software drivers,

If you are the type of person that just uses the computer for casual gaming then a Radeon card is probably fine for you. The bugs in the drivers just drive me crazy though. Whenever a new game comes out, it may take a month or two before the drivers are updated to the point that I am satisfied with the performance of the card. I am a previous nVidia owner and when comparing the driver support of the two companies, nVidia wins hands down. The card also tends to show the seams between textures in games which annoys me. The game Rage was so bad I actually stopped playing it for a month or two until the drivers were fixed. Yes my gripes are more about the software than the hardware. The hardware itself is solid. The frame rates are fantastic even at ultra high settings on virtually all current games. The card, like all radeons, do not have a physics hardware solution that I am aware of (like physix on nVidia). Overall, the final question is would I make the same purchase again? No, I...Read more
