Too bad does not come with HDMI ouput. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By tech-junkie2000 "Josh" (Grand Rapids, MI USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: ASUS EN8400GS SILENT/HTP/512M GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (Personal Computers) I've been running this with MythTV for the last couple months. Its fanless and completely silent, and fully supported in linux. 2 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Angela (Jacksonville, FL, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: ASUS EN8400GS SILENT/HTP/512M GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (Personal Computers) After searching and researching video/graphics cards for use with a 3D Computer Program, I basically went with this ASUS-Nvidia card because i built the PC on an ASUS MA785-M mobo-i knew NOTHING about graphics cards to purchase one, but was strongly advised to add one to the mobo, even though i thought it should work w/the on-board graphics... uhhhhh NO!!! MAJOR GRAPHICS in Maya. So, it works great for any 3D Animation, gaming, or whatever you are doing. The model i received is much newer than the photo shown; the colors are blue and silver. It is sturdy & light, but a bit large, so if you must put another card in a slot next to it, make sure it's FLAT on the graphics card side. |
