Well, the reviewer below gave the 560 a 1 star rating because it only came with 1 6-Pin PCI-E adapter, and apparently his power supply doesn't even come with one standard, when most modern power supplies over 450w come with at least 1. This is the reasoning I'm thinking as to why ASUS only gave one PCI-E adapter, yes two would be nice, but in this day and age, most gamers have beefy PSUs with at least 2 6-Pin PCI-E connections standard, and most regular PSUs come with 1 already :-)

Anyways, back to the card review. I bought this at $184 with a $20 rebate, and at that price, it was as steal. This is FERMI architecture on the cheap! Yes the 560 TI is great, but the benchmarking difference between the two is not worth the extra $50-$70 for me (only like 5-10 more FPS if that). I do all of my gaming at 1920x1080 and I'm able to play Dragon Age II, Crysis 2, and Street Figther 4 with everything maxed out, full AA, and DX11, with no lag at all. I'm quite happy.

This is my second of this model, bought for an SLI setup. Both cards easily run 20% over stock (with appropriate case air-flow) thanks to their beefed up cooling. Only a shame that the 560s won't do tri or quad SLI.

While the card itself is very good, the GTX 560 TI from ASUS is the only card I would recommend above it for performance for value, and the new cooling system ASUS came up with for this series is phenomenal, overall I have to rate it very low for one very important reason. The card is completely unusable out of the package and there is no warning prior to installation and trying to start the card up that you will need to purchase additional items before being able to use it.

In this case, you will need a supplemental power cord. As with most performance graphics cards this one needs more power than can be provided via the PCIe slot alone. Unlike many earlier cards, this card needs two such supplemental power cords. This is a very very big issue because the card only comes with one, so you'll need to get a second power cord before you can actually power the card and use it.

So, while I like the card once you have it up and running, as far as the official...Read more
