I needed a quiet low-profile video card for a home theater PC. Asus Graphics Adapter (GT520-1GD3-CSM) fits the bill perfectly. No fan so no noise. It is low-profile once you remove the standard VGA connector from the top. It has a HDMI output so I can plug directly into our TV. The card doesn't seem to run very hot during operation. Not a bad price for a 1GB card, either. Very happy with this choice!

This card was inexepensive and I needed a card that would be thin enough to fit into a fairly narrow slot. This did the job perfectly. My previous video card's fan started making noise and I wanted a card without a fan and clearly, this card is as quiet as it gets. It was simple to install and have had no problems at with it. I am not a gamer so can't comment on that aspect, but otherwise, this is a great card.
