THIS IS THE BEST PCI GRAPHICS CARD YOU CAN BUY NO QUESTIONS ASKED! This thing will run any game. here are a list of the games i've played and the settings they were at:
Battlefield 2: Medium-High (Medium with NO lag. but low for on-line)
The Sims 2: High setting NO lag.
Lord of the Rings (All): High settings with NO lag.
In conslusion, if your stuck with a PCI slot like i am, you should definatly buy this graphics card.

Simply put, this card is unbelievable outstanding... and its not even overclocked. I originally bought this card for Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, and Halo. When I went to the store, with the idea of buying a Radeon 9250, I immediately saw this card and inquired about it. The salesperson did start cracking up when I asked him, but I bought it anyway. THIS CARD IS DIRECT X 9.0 COMPATIBLE. I just played Half-Life 1: Source and was able to push out max resolution, max shaders, max shadows, max antialiasing, and just about max for everything else. The same went with Halo. My Intel integrated couldn't show the true colors for Halo, and just lagged really badly for Half-Life and CS:S. Now, the GeForce FX 5500 plays these MAX SETTINGS, NO PROBLEMS. The support manual is really helpful too. Just make sure you diable/remove any other graphics card you bought, or diable the drivers for your integrated video card. This card won't work with the other cards...Read more
