BFG is a pretty good company. They offer a lifetime warranty on this card when you register with them. They also provide a 100 day trade-up program. Besides the specifications which are comparable to other manufacturer's design of the GTS250, this card has a --> VERY <-- loud fan. It's quite irritating in fact. I was eye-balling this card while I was evaluating the EVGA GT240 which was super quiet, I sort of regret getting this card. I would have settled for the performance difference of the GT 240 over this GTS 250 card because of the fan noise.

Alternatively you can run "RivaTuner" to lower the fan speed. I've contacted BFG support in the very unlikely chance that there's some sort of known issue with the fan or firmware on the card. Bummer.

I recently purchased two of these to run in SLI since it's faster and cheaper than a GTX 285. The performance is awesome. You can crank the visual effects and everything is still buttery smooth (even at 1920 x 1200) in most games. But the awesome performance comes at a price. First, there's the aforementioned fans. They are a bit noisy. In fact, they're pretty much all I can hear from inside my PC case. Second, they run hot. A game like Modern Warfare 2 will cause them to run at full tilt and I noticed my office gets exceptionally hot. I downloaded a utility to monitor the GPU temperatures and they run at about 60 degrees Celsius and the office ends up feeling like it. If a silent machine is your goal, this is not the card. But if you're looking for a good deal on excellent performance, then this is the card for you.

All I can say is Top Notch.

I received my purchased item within a week of purchase. I expected it to be just the Video Card in a box, but it was in top condition. Not only is the product in full functional, but in the original box with all the paper work that had come with it as if it was bought from the store. How would I know? Cause I bought this same card in the store over a year ago for almost twice the price. I bought this to run two of the same cards in SLI mode.

The card is working the games are so much sweeter to play.
