Fine card, tricky marketing,

Well this card was very easy to install and is working fine. It seems to be about the best one in this price range. My only complaint is with Nvidia's tricky naming schemes. I bought this card to replace a Geforce 6600GT 128mb, without doing a huge amount of research I was pretty sure this 7300GT 512Mb card was a significant upgrade. It turns out it runs at a much slower clock speed than that 5 year old card and most games run a little (not a lot) slower. Well my 6600GT had actually broken, so it did need to be replaced and I'm not TOO upset about this, but it's something everyone should be aware of.

for the money this agp card is about as good as you'll find these days. it cant compare to the newer pcie gaming cards cards by any means but it will play many of the newer pc games with little difficulty. step pack the graphics in you game settings and there should be no problem.
i bought this card for my sons pc so he could play merc's 3 and a few other games he got for christmas and it handled them just fine. saved me from building him a new pc for a while.
if you have an older pc that just cant cut it anymore as is you may want to check this card out. it may save you a good chunk of money like it did me. what with the economy like it is who couldnt benifit from that?

Like all the other Nvidia products I have owned, this one performs well. It's a good bet for an aging AGP system.
