Summary: Good investment to play some cool games 2010-03-04
Comment: I bought this video card for my Dell XPS 400 that I've had for about 3 yrs now (purchased August of 2006) and it has worked on my system really well. I just wanted something to play the mid-level games (a couple of yrs old that are coming out discounted now). I picked up the first Left 4 Dead and the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare and they both play great. Well worth the price to get to play some great PC games.
Comment: I needed a decent card to run two 19" montiors for works that has moderate graphic requirements. I do GIS work, some photo work, and a lot of text / database work. I also watch some online video - mostly TV / news. This card was easy to install (Windows 7 64-bit) and has worked well for my needs. I appreciate the ability to adjust each monitor independently so that things like color, brightness, and contrast can be fine tuned to be closely matched (both Samsung, but not quite identical models). DVI adapters were included which saved me a few bucks. The fan is quiet and I am pleased with the performance.

Comment: I'm hooking up this card to my flat screen tv through a complicated component-ethernet-tuner-control4 set-up so my computer is in one room and the TV in another part of the house.

Comment: NVidea has the worst technical support I have ever seen. After an hour of searching their site fopr help...I gave up....I wantyed to use this to display on my TV...their program takes you to a page to do this....you click yes and it disappears....doesn't work but it says it does. DONE with their products

Comment: I felt like I should share my experiences - I have no trainwreck story, nor do I have a GLOWING review - however as a little-above-average PC user I think I have a pretty balanced view.
I do video editing and graphic design by semi-professional trade, but as someone who is right outta college I don't have a whole lot of funds. THIS IS A GREAT CARD. Before this I was using the 128MB dedicated on-board graphics card of my computer and needless to say, this was shaky at best. After having installed this card in my computer there was a HUGE difference in quality. Now I am not an expert or a PC gamer that needs 50X Graphics 3D Shading Mark III or whatever there is out now...but I do need speed and stability, and this card has it.
It installed right out of the box with no problems in Windows 7, and already booting up into my desktop the graphics were smoother and faster...a lot easier on the eyes. Photoshop and Adobe Premiere CS4 both run WAY better...
If you don't want to break the bank, but want a good experience I can highly reccommend this card. The on board cooling is more than adequate, although if I was going to overclock I would probably invest in something a little more powerful!
