To install the card, make sure the video card is set to "Auto" in the BIOS and install the card. Go ahead and stay plugged into the onboard card while you reboot (you wont see the dell post messages but windows will still treat the onboard as the primary), then go into Windows Device Manager and disable the onboard card. Windows will then see this card as your primary display device and you can plug directly into it from then on. Overall, this is a pricey card for what it does, but I'm happy I upgraded. The fan is pretty quiet and the card has nice capabilities. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Carrie L. It can even play CoD4 on medium settings. My only problem was the price, it's a little too expensive for what you get. All in all, it's a very good video card.
