Great if you are using two monitors, just plug them both into the card and they run independently as an extended desktop. I have three monitors, hopefuly 4 in the future and will only need two cards thanks to this. My server only allows for PCIe 1x, as opposed to the standard 16x or less so it's been hard to find a compatable graphics card. This was a great solution. They are very good quality making the extended screen experience that much better.
Perfect for dual monitor win7 x64,

Replacement card in my proliant 2850 server. Works under Windows 7 x64 with driver from Matrox.
search for xddm64_2_10_01_005_nowhql_w7 driver. Has dvi ports but comes with vga to dvi adapter.
Install card, load the matrox power desk (driver above) and set up dual monitors. goes up to 1280x1024

This graphics card is the poorest performing card I've ever used. It is only one lane, but keep your expectations very low and you won't be disappointed.
