Card was cheap at $28 and it works well with Win7 but I specifically bought this card to test how well it would work with Linux... any kind of Linux. ATI has classified my current ATI x300 card as a legacy card and doesn't provide any new drivers. This review is from: MSI nVidia GeForce 8400GS 256 MB DVI/HDTV PCI-Express Video Card N8400GS-TD256 (Personal Computers) I bought this for our church's box running Windows xp 64-bit. The only drawback was that the original driver files do not load up with the 64-bit edition of XP. I almost wiped the hard drive and installed a clean copy of a 32-bit version, but then I got the novel idea of checking with NVIDIA's website. Sure enough, they had the correct driver I needed for this card. Downloaded the file and was up and running in minutes. Got dual monitor support. Couldn't be happier. For the price of this card, you definitely can't go wrong! 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
