MSI nVidia GeForce 9400GT 512 MB DDR2 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low-Profile PCI-Express Video Card N94GT-MD512 (LOW PROFILE)

The primary reason I bought this card is because it has HDMI output. Images on my monitor looked awesome right out of the box with the win 7 drivers from the MSI web site for this video card. Don't bother with the install disc for win 7. The problems I had was getting it to work with my Sony Bravia (1080p) TV. I finally had to e-mail MSI customer support. Since I was running Windows 7 (32 Bit) on my Asus P5K-E motherboard I needed to download and install the motherboards win 7 chipset drivers and utilities drivers then install the recommended video driver (not the one from the MSI web site but from the Nvidia web site) then I could see images on my TV. I also had to do a fresh install and format my hard drive because the Asus win 7 chipset & utilities drivers had to be the very first drivers installed before ANYTHING else. Well the hardware was delivered in fine shape and in time as promised. The software that came with it was so so. The software suggests an update but the update is pretty useless. I recommend that you not update the driver as it will not work (or at least for optimal resolution). I should have gotten a similar card from another manufacturer.
