MSI Geforce 210 512 MB DDR2 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card MD512

I bought this as I was building a computer with my son. I wanted to use inexpensive components, but thought this would give decent graphics performance for basic internet usage. I made the assumption that it would be better than the native intel graphics chipset on the motherboard. Unfortunately, it really didn't seem to offer much more than the intel graphics and it provided the low point on the windows experience index with a rating of 3.5. I wasn't thrilled with it because it was noisy as well, so I used it to replace an aging card on an old computer, and bought the MSI Radeon HD 512 MB DDR3 5450 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Car. This was a better choice since it was passively cooled so it was much quieter than the other car, and it seems to provide a much richer screen appearance than the nvidia for a similar price. Windows rated it at 5.2 for Aero and 6.3 for gaming, which was considerably better than the nvidia.
