Installed in a Windows 7 desktop PC.

So, I used to work in hardware & software support, but that was over a decade ago. I was a little nervous about doing this myself,since my knowledge is so outdated, but my daughter had a new game that needed a video card instead of the integrated graphics on the desktop computer we have. I won't bore you w/how I ordered the wrong card first, but once I figured out that I needed a card for a PCI-Express slot, the hardware installation was a breeze.

I didn't have much trouble turning off the integrated graphics thanks to Windows tutorials. I did have some trouble getting the correct drivers and updates, but after some frustration got the new graphics card off and running.

My daughter also does some video editing. She can't believe how much quicker that goes now. This was a great investment, and I'm rather proud of myself for updating my 'puter all by myself.
