Nvidia Geforce 8400GS Pcie 512MB DDR2 VGA Dvi HDtv Low Profile

My mom's Dell desktop started having weird display issues where random colors were showing up. I tested the monitor to see if that was the problem; it wasn't. I have above average knowledge on building computers so I automatically knew it was a video card problem. I opened the computer and noticed how dusty the video card and its heatsink were. I proceeded to remove it, look at the model number and found it on Amazon. The card came in, popped it in the desktop, all problem resolved. Satisfied that the card worked RIGHT out of the box and that I knew better than to let my mom go to Geek Squad to pay them for something that requires no more knowledge than being able to use Google. I decided to choose this card and not to upgrade to a better card because my mom doesn't use any graphics intensive applications nor does she play video games. This was adequate to fit her needs.
