I purchased this video card when it was first released, based on the low cost/good performance ratio, and nVidia's reputation. Big mistake. The card has made noises from the fan after about a week of use, and after a year of use, it sounds like someone puts bolts into a dryer every time my PC comes out of sleep. The noise eventually goes away, but at this point it sounds like there is a fire potential when the fan bearings finally give out, so I have to replace it. Beyond the fan failing on the card, the performance has been pretty good. But in the end, it was simply a waste of money.
