I've purchased many PNY Nvidia based cards an have never had a problem until this one though. When I first boot up the computer the fan makes a loud vibrating sound for about a minute; it sounds like it's loose and about to fall apart. I found nothing to be loose or screws missing or anything, so I'll see if it holds up. The only thing bad about this for me is the fact that I install cards like this for other people and it's really a pain when one has issues like this.
This is a great inexpensive card that will allow you to hook your computer up to an HD television that doesn't have the monitor connections already. PROS: The card is plug and play and installs without much from the installer. Works great with Windows 7. I don't play games, but online movies and videos are beautiful in full HD. Also, low energy consumption if that is important to you.
The bad: Not much unless you need a high performance card for gaming and then you'll want to look elsewhere.
