Good value. Not a high end gamer card but it'll do typical stuff - web browsing, flash videos with no problems. Important to me is that it works perfectly with Ubuntu and Nvidia's Linux drivers. Upon receipt I checked that my card had the fan. It did. It does seem to render complex web pages faster than the integral AMD video adapter plus frees up 512 MB. RAM that was resrved for the integral card.

I ordered this specifically because it was portrayed as a graphics card with a fan.
What arrived was a PNY graphics card in the same box but with a fanless passive heatsink that is very shallow. Likewise it did not have a low profile bracket that I know it should do and that is described in the manual, good that I did not need a low profile bracket, for those who do be warned.
Subsequently the graphics card is always running hot as the fanless heatsink is not very capable of cooling the card.
I'm using speed fan to monitor the temperatures and while the rest of my PC runs at a cool 35 Celsius the graphics card is burning up at 70+ Celsius temperatures and thats only while using youtube.
It works ok as a graphics card, although when it heats ups after prolonged use we experience some jolting, note this is only while using Skype, youtube and other graphics light programs.
Overall disappointed but no longer have the time to return...Read more
