The GDDR5 memory really speeds up the GT240. Had a GT240 with GDDR3 1G memory returned it, and brought the GT240 GDDR5. The memory increased the window 3d performance score.

I ordered this card to replace the factory installed card in my HP M9040N. I was easy to install and setup, Updated the drivers, and now my PC is quiet and fast, the card works, fantastic! Games are amazing, and my PC performance score is much better.

When I decided to build a "walking desk" (modify a treadmill by adding a desktop to it) I had to make the decision to either buy a new computer no use with it, or install a new video card that would allow me to run two monitors from one PC. This little gem fits the bill for the latter. I don't play games, but I do watch streaming videos and movies and this card works flawlessly. I have my primary monitor cloned and I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse so I can quickly switch from my walking desk to my regular desk when the need arises. Installation was simple and after two months I can honestly say this card is well worth the money spent.
