Summary: Quiet video card 2010-03-09
Comment: I purchased this video card for a Dell GX270 pentium 4 computer. It required an an AGP related card. I replaced a card that had a very noisy fan. This card is quiet since it has a heatsink and does not have a fan to cool its processor chip. This card also came with an option to use in a low profile chasis. Did not need this option but great if you need it. Many cards do not offer this as standard issue. I use this card for photo/video editing and not for video games. I do not know how well it would perform playing modern video games. I followed directions supplied with the card and it installed without any problems. The picture quality is fantastic and I am very happy with this purchase.

Comment: Not much to say - a very cheap but good video card for an old motherboard that uses an AGP slot card.

It just works perfect, just don't think it will run high end games at max settings. For everyday use it works great.

Comment: The PNY GeForce 256 graphics card installs well and runs well. I have found no compatibility problems with my other hardware. The printed quick installation instructions work reasonably well, but they could have mentioned that even more comprehensive installation instructions can be found on the accompanying CD.

Summary: Perfect if you want to upgrade old computer to use LCD widescreen 2010-01-01
Comment: My old CRT monitor (for Dell Dimension 4600C) started flickering too much and I wanted to replace the monitor. I realized later that the computer does not support widescreen resolutions and I did not want to replace perfectly working computer. I ordered this and upgrade went perfect. The low profile bracket was included and I did not shell out another $10 towards it. The upgrade was smooth and was over in 20 minutes. I had no intention to use graphics and just wanted to buy widescreen LCD monitor.
