Comment: The low resolution on the flat screen monitor on my six year old Compaq desktop computer was not displaying properly, lots of double images and blurring. I decided to replace the monitor with a new widescreen one, a Compaq Q1859 with 1366X768 resolution and read that I first needed to install a new PCI video card. The computer is running Windows XP Home, an Intel Celeron processor and an integrated video card which, as it turned out, had failed. This PNY video card worked out perfectly. Installation was simple, the 250 watt power supply was sufficient, and the picture quality is GREAT!!!

Summary: PCI Graphics card 2010-03-04
Comment: Great graphics card but the instructions suck. The instuctions that came with the card do not match what I found on line. Looks like they were written for Windows 95. After I installed the card I had a blank screen, Called the help desk and you have to leave a message and they will call you back. They did 24 hours later. They argued that the instuctions in the box were good. By that time with trial and error I fixed it myself.

Summary: Works great with Windows 7 2010-02-27
Comment: Works great. I'm using it in a Dell Dimension that I upgraded to Windows 7. Plug and play. Been very happy. Not using it for gaming, so can't comment there.

Summary: okay for price 2010-02-24
Comment: The instruction not real clear on how to install. There was a plug in on the board that the diagram did not say anything about, if you need to plug something into it or not. I Took several attempts to get the computer to recognize it. The graphics are okay, but it has slowed down the start up. After it starts up the computer works normal. It is a four year old computer. It was a good price for what it is. so far it does what I need to do. It will run the game Fate.

Summary: Graphics Card - Easy to install! 2010-02-22
Comment: I received my graphics card very quickly. I opened up the computer and just with one screw to remove I place the new card and put the screw back in place. The computer sensed it and then installed it. I had never even looked in a computer before this. Thanks!
