5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, May 15, 2010

This review is from: PNY XLR8 GTX 480 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express HDMI Graphics Card VCGGTX480XPB (Personal Computers)
At stock speeds this card is great. When you overclock this card its Fantastic. But before you do, use MSI afterburner (Google it) to control voltage, fan speeds and overclock of this card. Stock speeds without fan control will drive your temperatures up to 92C, if you overclock, I would strongly recommend afterburner to keep your card temperatures below 72C. Games such Crysis will try to push this card, but it still runs the game at a average 45fps with settings at Very High. The downside to this card is long load times in Battlefield 2 bad company. This is because the drivers are not fully developed. The work around is to drop DirectX to 9 or 10. The game default setting it is set to auto (DX11). this problem will go away as the drivers mature. If Noise (fan)is a concern. I had two 280GTX in sli, boy was that noisy. This card is quieter, but the noise is still noticeable when playing games that push the card. Overall I am very please and you will be too!

received the Video card about 3 days after he sent it out, item arrived safely and everything that was included with the card was intact. I have this card running on my main pci slot in my 3 way sli system and i must say its running great. I can definitely recommend this buyer and would do business with him again.
