 Not Sure Yet, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Radeon HD3850 Pcie 512MB DDR3 2PORT Dvi Retail (Personal Computers) I have held the item for a little under 1 week since receiving it from Circuit City. I thought I had everything I needed to run this video card, but Circuit City's lack of information and being unable to locate much information on this particular model, I believed I had everything I needed. Turns out, Circuit City does not list the full requirements for this item, nor does Amazon. This item requires a 6pin or 6+2 pin from your PSU with a minimum of 75W and a PSU of 450 or greater. This would not have been a problem had the information been listed under specifications, but without it, I had to return the one power supply I ordered for it and order a new one. It was a hassle as the other PSU has yet to arrive and I am without the paperwork needed for work until the PSU arrives from the other shipper.
I recommend that if you do purchase this model you have a full tower with lots of fans to keep your tower cool as well as the card, as the Radeon HD3850 is huge and takes...Read more |
