This review is from: Radeon X1300XT 256MB Agp (Personal Computers) After I made the move from to my 20" Widescreen monitor, it seemed apparent that my old AGP graphics card, a Chaintech 6200A overclocked edition wasn't going to hold me out anymore. After years of looking for the best affordable graphics card upgrade, I stumbled upon this, quite fortunately. After confirming its equivalence to the famous Nvidia 6600GT, I bought it. And what I hard it is. Memory hardly overclocks, but the coreclock get's a decent boost. Left 4 Dead (which I was able to buy now that I have this card), runs at decent widescreen resolutions on Medium settings smooth. Source games run on high at 1680x1050, Age of Empires III same. But the point is that it's great for most source era games, without too much of the over-the-top eye candy stuff like anti-aliasing, or anisotropic filtering. This card made the difference between DX7 and DX9 rendering for me for Call of Duty 2.
