Found a second one of these at Amazon to Crossfire my existing system. Both of my favored on line wholesalers were sold out at the time I was shopping for a second one. World of Warcraft and EVE Online both play quite well and look fantastic with two of these devices in Crossfire. Settings for WoW are 'High', VSync enabled, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering set to 8x. Yield is steady 60 fps at 1920x1080 resoltion. Very little discernable lag or stutter. Disabling VSync will enable higher but less stable frame rates - usually 80-120 range but can spike in the neighborhood of 200+.

Coming from being a long time nVidia user, the Sapphire Radeon HD 6790 1 GB DDR5 256bit pcie card is amazing in every way. Back in the day nVidia was the way to go or so I was told over and over. Upon years of being brainwashed into thinking nVidia was the king of graphics cards, I ventured into picking up this high rated ATI card and I didn't know what to expect. I was completely blown away when I bare witnessed the pure sonic power I was missing. The only reason I bought this was because my Xbox 360 uses ATI and I though since the graphics were good I'd pick one up and slam it into my rig! I used to get laughed at for having an old nVidia 7800gs 256mb gc and I wanted to play the hottest games and couldn't because of my inferior system.

Everyone loves Crysis 2 right?
Well with my current set up, I can run on EXTREME with out any slow down what so ever and as for other games like Deadspace 2,BFBC 2,and other games run like a damn dream! Even my bluray and HD movies...Read more
