SPARKLE SP94GT1024D2LHP 9400 GT 1GB GDDR2 PCI Passive Low Profile HDTV S-Video DVI Graphics Card

I have HP SFF desktop with 250 Watt Power supply. Its got one PCI slot. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and this card runs in 1920 x 1080 (Full HD progressive) with no problems. I use this PC as HTPC. I am using this for about 6 months now. The thing that I did not understand is when I installed the drivers from Sparkle, Windows 7 gave 4.1, but when I installed drivers from nVidia, it gave 3.5. So, I uninstalled the drivers from nVidia and am using the drivers from Sparkle. I have a Blu-ray drive in it and it works great. I connect from PC to TV using DVI to HDMI cable [...] that I got from Amazon too. This is the reasonably priced card for my PC with HDCP (this is required to play Bluray discs). I connect the audio using analog audio connection. I do not play any PC games on this, so I cannot tell you about the games performance.

The card was as advertised and is performing well. The physical size was greater than expected and caused me to surrender a second PCI slot due to the width of the heat sink but I had an extra so I am good for now. This transformed my old 6350US with Integrated Extreme Graphics to one that can drive the 24" monitor we old folks need to see the fine print. It also delayed having to purchase new bi focals. I am pleased.
