This card costs this much? when a directX11 card is cheaper? To proud of these old cards! Should be around 75 bones, sorry noone wanted them sooner.

I recently purchased this item. The VisionTek card in the ad was completely shrouded . The card I received from Tiger Direct was not. Now when I look at the card here at Amazon, you see what I was shipped. This is probably a good card, but it is not what I ordered.
The fan is exposed and the clearance to the next PCI slot was limited on my new Gigabyte board EP45-UD3P, there is a distinct possibility of the fan striking the nearby card. Plus what I read prior to making my purchase, warned of the earlier cards like this one. The fan noise may be a concern if you are planning to use the computer as a Home Theater hub, which is what I have planned. I have to give it a low rating because there is a later version of this card available and that was the card I saw and thought I purchased.
