In adhering to my beliefs that a review should be indicative of the particular SKU being reviewed, I'll begin by stating that I can't relate this Visiontek product to any other vendor's HD5770...this rating and review applies solely to my experience with the Visiontek HD5770 (though I'll reference the XBOX 360 so folks looking for a solid, cheap upgrade from console hardware know what to expect).
1) Performance (1st and foremost): excellent (approximately three times the graphical power of the XBOX 360 I updgraded from (per passmark's benchmarks, and my own observations). With a sufficient CPU, you'll be able to run virtually all current-generation games at 1080P/60fps (with no anti-aliasing (which you really don't need at 1080p native (in fact, it works to dull the image))).
All with maxed settings (no AA):
