I purchased this card as a replacement for my aging Radeon 9550. I was looking for something to allow me to play a few games. A bonus with this card is that it can playback HD content, which will allow my PC to become a HTPC when I retire my old rig.
Installation was a little tricky, but it was mostly because I had some old ATI TV drivers that were hard to find/remove. Basically all you have to do is uninstall ALL of your old video drivers, put the new card in, install the newest drivers, and you are set.
I must say, this card has exceeded my expectations. Although I have yet to try out any brand-new games on this card, it has more than enough horsepower to RULE games like Doom 3 and Unreal Tournament 2004. The difference between this card and my 9550 are UNCOMPAREABLE. I have not experienced any glitches or dropouts or freezeups since installing this card.

I recently purchased this card because it was cheaper than a new computer. Games I had to play on medium or low settings I now play on high. Wow, what a big difference it made. I see things now that I couldn't see before. Awesome card for the price and for us poor folks who still have AGP.

I didn't buy this card here but i did at altex and let me tell you IT'S AWESOME!!
You have to get the drives from Visiontek though not from ATI please fallow my words!
my games i can play on my computer thanks to this card: all orangbox games, dead space, doom 3, max payne 1&2, painkiller and crysis (on low settings with NO lag at all!) but the rest of the games i listed above except crysis i can run on all HIGH settings
