VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 5870 1 GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card 900298 (Black with Red)

I recently decided to pursue the endeavor of building my own computer for gaming. After thorough research, I almost went with a GTX 295, but through some accidental discovery, happened upon the ATI HD 5870. I saw it was roughly $150 less, and after looking into it further, learned there wasn't that much of a performance difference.

I know a lot of people out there talk about how video cards place Crysis or what not, but I have to say, this card is pretty amazing. It handles everything I throw at it, and doesn't blink. I haven't had any hiccups, glitches, freezes...anything. I am quite amazed at how well this card works.

Also, it stays relatively cool and really isn't loud at all. I have a big case, an HAF-922, and it fits perfectly with plenty of room.

Bought one of these 6 months prior to this one an loved it. Purchased this one from the same seller "poorboy" used. I am running both in crossfire mode and am in absolute awe of them. :)

The item # for this is: #900298. That is a reference model of the 5870. The card I got was some non-reference Visiontek thing. It looked like a PowerColor PCB... Red. I can not use it because my waterblocks will not work on a non-reference card. I have to return it. I am not happy at all.
