I am not a "techie". I am capable of switching cards, RAM, drives, etc. I had upgraded my computer with an 6800 series Nvidia card that crashed after a year so that my sons could play their Civilization and Lego games more smoothly and since they did not want to go back to the old card, I had to find a new one.
I did the research and, low and behold, couldn't find any 6800 series Nvidia cards - only 6200 series! Since I'm running an "old" computer (Windows XP, Pentium 4, AGP), I had a limited choice and the reviews across the spectrum were good for this XFX Radeon card.
Bought it, installed it, and have had no problems with anything. Drivers all seem to work, the ATI software has improved my monitor layout, and my sons are happy for their 30 minutes of computer time daily again. Works for us!

I just picked this card up. I can say I am extremely happy. I have run several nvidia cards in the past, never used an ATI card. Very happy with the switch. I installed this on Windows 7 64 bit running dual widescreen monitors (1680x1050 resolution). All works great. For some reason, the cd would not run for me, so I just downloaded the newest drivers and installed. I also installed hydravision. I really like this. The newest nvidia cards lost ntune. This was a big negative for me. The hydravision adds some extra function, but the one I really like (and missed with ntune) was it centers dialog boxes. With windows 7, save/save as/open dialog boxes would always open in different locations. This you can put on whatever screen you want, and it allows you to center them in the window. Very nice.
I don't use this for gaming, just to run my dual monitor setup, so no comments on that.
Great card. I will be buying ATI cards now for sure.

Works perfect 100% easy set up works great for the low price just awesome and fyi ur supposed to have a 450 power supply to make it work 100% but its doing fine on my 250 PS but i suggest geting at least 500 PS im still gonna upgrade my PS to 500 so i can get the most out of it
