The fan in my old NVIDIA based GeForce 9400 GT card was making a lot of noise in my otherwise nearly silent computer, so I bought a fanless ASUS (ATI) card at a store to replace it. I send videos over to the TV to watch, but I soon learned that ATI based cards won't send regular Windows audio out over an HDMI cable!
I returned the card & bought this fanless Zotac (NVIDIA) GeForce 9500 GT card here on Amazon instead. Amazon's free shipping got it to me in 1 1/2 days (!!!), & it was up & running perfectly in just a few minutes with no problems. It comes with a little SPDIF cable to send the Windows sound from the motherboard to the video card & on over to your TV along with the video, through the HDMI cable.
If you're wanting to clone your computer monitor over to your TV, including Windows audio, this handsome, silent Zotac card is a great choice, & YES, It displays at 1920x1080 on the 1080p TV! I love this card!

At first I thought Windows 7 had a bug. Whenever I 'skyped' or watched a movie on PC it would freeze up. It froze up every 10 minutes when I watched my first movie rented from Amazon. Eventually I gave up. I figured, well, since it doesn't freeze up when I edited photos, I'll stop worrying about it and just not watch movies or skype anymore. A year down the road, I decided to spend my time on it again. I decided to remove this card and replace it with the older one from gigabyte. Lo and behold, the freezing stopped. So, all I can say is this card is not compatible to windows 7 nor windows xp.
